The Arlington project was completed on behalf of a long‑time client who purchased a bungalow as an investment property with the intention of rebuilding it into a three‑storey home. The proposed rear addition required a new foundation, and the most challenging aspect of the project was the extremely limited site access.

Thanks to the friendly and collaborative neighbours, we were able to coordinate access, bring in the excavator, and complete the foundation trenches safely and efficiently.

The existing bungalow was scheduled for a full rebuild, and the new design required a rear structural addition supported by a newly constructed foundation. The engineering called for a cinder‑block foundation, perfectly levelled and aligned to support the future framing of the expanded home.
