Woodview Drive – Replacement of Rotten Structural Posts
This Woodview Drive project involved replacing four severely deteriorated wooden posts that were originally installed by the custom home builder, who should have used at least pressure-treated materials. Over time, the posts had rotted to the point where the addition roof was at risk of sagging and eventual collapse.
Our team fabricated four new 4x4 structural steel posts, each one painted with oxy‑red primer and anti‑rust coating for long‑term durability. Every post was fitted with a custom top flange designed to match the exact geometry of the existing roof structure. The installation was completed in a single day, restoring proper support and preventing further structural damage. This quick intervention ensured the addition roof remained safe, stable, and fully supported for years to come.
